We are pleased to know that COVID-19 is not transmitted through food. It’s important to understand that the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) is not currently aware of any reports of human illnesses that suggest COVID-19 can be transmitted by food or food packaging. We at Premier Catering & Events have always focused on stringent hygiene practices and continue to follow when handling or preparing foods, such as washing hands and surfaces often, separating raw meat from other foods, cooking to the right temperature, and refrigerating foods promptly. We have instilled even deeper cleaning practices and clean / disinfect culinary work stations and office work stations routinely throughout the workday.
