Once the women’s waiting room and beauty parlor, this extraordinary space has spent recent decades blocked off to the public and used as a railroad “paper warehouse.” Lucky for us, in 2016, the space was lovingly refurbished and reintroduced as a private event space under the moniker: The Burlington Room. The room’s ornate ceiling, champagne-colored columns, and French block murals have been painstakingly restored and returned to their early 19th century opulence.
